LEXAN™ weatherable films utilize a coating technology that resists yellowing and hazing by protecting against the sun's harmful UV rays. Along with good UV resistance, these films also have chemical and abrasion resistance comparable with the LEXAN™ hardcoat series of films. LEXAN™ highly impact resistant weatherable films are available in two gloss levels, a polished version with 92% gloss and a matte version with 12% gloss. LEXAN™ weatherable film can be available in roll format or as polycarbonate sheets. These performance capabilities, along with LEXAN™ film's ease of processing and advanced heat resistance make LEXAN™ weatherable film a good choice for outdoor graphic applications such as warning labels, outdoor menu boards, gasoline pumps, outdoor lenses, and marine graphics.
