Our hardcoats are designed with the user in mind. They're optimized to allow first-surface decoration for texturing, second-surface printability with both solvent and UV inks, and clean, easy diecutting and embossing.  We offer hardcoating in polcarbonate and polyester film to provide chemical and abrasion resistance as well as a anti-glare, anti-graffiti, and anti-microbial coating.  

Tekra also offers hardcoated overlaminates whose primary function is to protect underlying images from scratching, marring, and tearing. Like all of our other coatings, overlaminates can come in a number of different gloss levels and can be specially designed for your particular application.

In addition to our standard product offering, Tekra has the capabilities and technical expertise to develop unique, custom coatings to meet the needs of OEMs. Our dry erase coating is just one example of Tekra's ability to tailor products for a specific customer requirement. Tekra can also toll coat customer supplied specialty substrates. Our fully staffed R&D department works with you to create a custom coating solution.
